Steve is Chairman of Oleo Industries, LLC, a firm exploring innovative solutions to the devastating impact of oil spills in the world’s waterways as well as Chairman of Steven Fadem & Associates, a strategic management advisory firm providing creative insight, counseling and advice to clients across a spectrum of industries including professional services, investment banking firms and companies operating in various manufacturing and distribution sectors. Steve was previously Chairman of Global Data Sentinel (now GDS360), a cybersecurity firm he co-founded in 2014.
Prior to that, Mr. Fadem ran the business side of a top-five AmLaw firm, Kirkland & Ellis, and a major financial services firm, Geller & Co. which, among other things, possesses a major multifamily office servicing the ultra-high net worth community and is the outsourced CFO for Bloomberg L.P.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Fadem led a Clayton, Dubilier & Rice portfolio company, Global Decisions Group, comprised of CERA- the leading international research, advisory and consulting firm that focuses on the global energy industry, and MCM, a leading provider of real time analysis and commentary on global fixed income and foreign exchange markets. He also engineered a turnaround with Relegence, which utilized cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technologies to provide real-time information services to the financial services community. Mr. Fadem orchestrated the sale of Relegence to AOL. Mr. Fadem got his start in media, entertainment and communications. He held senior management roles at Viacom Entertainment and at a predecessor to Verizon, and senior legal roles at Viacom and Warner Amex, as well as a stint as General Counsel and Vice President of Business Affairs at Multimedia Entertainment.
A graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Fadem also attended the Emory University School of Law.
